We facilitate safari bookings on your behalf. Actual safari permits are issued by the Government Forest Department.
⚠️ Important Notes:
- Safari permits are limited and subject to availability from the Forest Department.
- Wildlife sightings, including Tigers, depend on nature and cannot be guaranteed.
- Gypsy safari and the safari zone will be given to the traveler as per availability.
- Visitors cannot choose particular zone for the safari.
- Visitors can cancel there booking and get refunds according to cancellation policy, The booking is non-transferable and cannot be editable, as the voucher will be issued in your name.
- If your Gypsy Safari booking cannot be confirmed due to unavailability of seats or a technical error, we will refund the full amount to your provided bank account. You will be informed promptly once the refund process is initiated.
- You are required to reach the designated safari entry gate as per your booking. If you are unable to do so, we can arrange a Pick & Drop facility at an additional cost.
- Carry a valid government ID for verification at the safari gate.
- Children above 5 years require a permit.

Core Safari Zones of Kanha

Kanha Zone
This is the main zone of the park and among the most popular ones. This Kanha Safari zone is known for its bamboo forests and open grassland areas. This is a good safari zone of Kanha, which is even richer in wildlife species. People say King Dashrath mistook Shravan Kumar for a deer and then killed him at Shravan Taal of this area, so one should definitely visit it during the ride. Buffer Safari Zones of Kanha
Khatia zone
This zone is in the outer boundaries of the core Kisli one. This buffer zone is perfect for those tourists who wanna enjoy casual safari rides and want to see sights of some cute animals like chital, sambar, blue bull, wild pigs, and langurs. People can enjoy a morning, evening, or night safari in this Kanha Safari zone, and making an Online Kanha Safari Booking in advance is necessary. The gate to enter this zone is Khatia, and reaching the safari gate on time is important.
Khapa Zone
This zone of the park is a good choice for the bird watchers. This one is the buffer safari zone and is known for the dense forests and peaceful surroundings. It is on the western side of the park and is home to many bird species, along with animals like chital, langur, wild pig, sloth bear, blue bull, gaur, Indian wild dog, sambar, barking deer, and jackal. To enter this Kanha Safar Zone, one has to come through the famous Mukki Gate of the park.
Sijhora zone
This zone is great for those who want a quiet, calming safari experience. The Sijhora Kanha Safari zone is located on the southern edge of the park and offers tourists a thrilling chance to enjoy sightings of chital, sambar, barking deer, langur, wild pig, jackal, etc in their natural habitat. This zone even offers the opportunity to see some reptiles and birds easily. The Sijhora zone is mostly booked for calming vibes and a peaceful safari experience.
Phen zone
This buffer zone of the park is technically a wildlife sanctuary. This one is a part of Kanha Tiger Reserve but comes under the Kanha buffer zones. This one is the only buffer zone that offers a chance to see animals like tigers, sloth bears, Indian bison, chital, sambar deer, nilgai, langur, peafowl, wild boar, hyena, etc. One can enter this zone for a morning safari through the Ghurri Barrier Gate, while evening entry is through the Mukki Gate.

Requirements for making Kanha Safari Booking
Full name of each tourist who is going on the safari in Kanha.
Nationality of the tourist has to be provided if you wanna get confirmed slots for the safari ride.
Touosts also have to provide the gender and age of each visitor.
Carry your original ID proof during the safari.
Valid ID proofs include: Driving License, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, and Aadhar Card.
For foreigners, only the original passport is accepted.
Payment includes gypsy/vehicle charges, guide & driver fees, permit fees, camera charges, pick-up/drop (if opted), and service fees.
The safari zone, once selected, cannot be changed after the Kanha safari booking is done.
At the entry gate, you must show the same ID proof used at the time of making an online Kanha safari booking.


Online Kanha Safari Booking Tips
Making your online Kanha safari booking in advance is necessary if you don’t wanna miss the chance of getting your preferred permit slot and zone.
For a comfortable ride, you can book an entire gypsy even if you are fewer than 6 people.
Always carry a hard copy of your permit (soft copy is not accepted).
Don’t forget to bring your original Identity card that you used while making the Kanha Safari Booking.
Kanha National Park remains closed from June 16 to October 1 every year.
No modifications can be made after the booking is confirmed.
If a gypsy is unavailable, your full booking amount will be refunded within 2 days.
The forest department has the right to cancel or modify permits in unavoidable cases. We are just a private platform for tourists requiring assistance with safari bookings. Only the government can make decisions, and their say is final.
Pick-up & drop-off facility is available with extra charges.
